Here are some pictures of our addtion. It is coming along! We're in a pretty big mess as you can see but I love how it is turning out. I am tired of deciding about paint, carpet, trim, lights etc. but it will be over soon! Thanks for letting me vent to you all. It helps me a lot and I appreciate it. I can't wait to have you all sitting in the new room, laughing and talking!

Its almost a year since I posted! I might need to do this more to know what I'm doing! This is a picture of the funnest night on the cruise we took with my family and Jenny and Nate. Ron and Diane got all of us the shirts that say I'm with Glenn and Jean. We sure laughed when one of the crew directors came out with a sign what said, "I'm not with Glenn and Jean)

A wonderful week with the Lau's

The wonderful Lau family with the fabulous new pillows we made! Sorry husbands! My daughters take after me when it comes to pillows! They really make us happy!

I told the kids I'd let them buy something for a dollar at Joanns. I never knew a choice could be so hard! It took about a half an hour, about the same time it took us to pick out fabric! It was fun--whatever we did together was fun!

We had fun at the zoo! I can see why they get a season pass- it was fabulous!

The last day, we went to a beach! We were thrilled that it was so warm that day and had fun playing in the sand and water. Matthew got clear in because he wanted to try out a new life jacket!

Happenings at the farm

Its always special to visit graves on Memorial Day. Grandma was sweet to provide all the flowers for us. She loved grandpa so much! Jenny and Nate were there just after this picture. We're glad to have Grandma here this summer.

I was amazed to see Brandon and Christopher killing birds with a BB gun and sling shot! They are getting pretty good!

Nolan saves the day!

We were so thrilled, happy and amazed at all the work Nolan did for us at the river house. We were just about out of steam! He was so careful to get all the rocks in just the right place and worked so hard! We love the retaining walls so much and are thankful for all the other work he did too-- shaping the land, designing the sprinkler system, moving the cement edging etc. etc. It was fun to have Ashley and the kids to visit with every day too. I forgot to take a family picture! We had lots of fun sewing together and I loved playing with the kid. Thanks for everything!

Visit from the Lee's

It was wonderful to have Jenny, Nate and the kids here! They got here Friday in time to visit with Nolan and Ashley before they left. Sat. Dad and I went to a temple sealing so they went bowling and to a show with Darin and Tayna and the kids. When we were done at the temple we met everyone at the river house and had a fun evening. We cooked out and kayaked. The weather was even good which was great!! Sunday morning we floated ducks down the waterfall and played a game. They look great all dressed up for church.

Savannah and Heidi are great buddies. When Savannah has her bangs down they look so much alike!

We can't wait for all of you to come to the river house this summer! We thought we could play "Pick up Sticks!" JK! Sometimes we don't know if we're making any progress! We do have this all cleaned up now, thank goodness. Dave Sunburg climbed up the tree with his big chain saw and cut the top half off first! Dad, Darin, Pete and Brian worked to clear it off. Then the next day, dad and I raked and picked up a million little sticks in 32 degree weather! We sure do look forward to when it is done!

Hi everyone, can you believe I am blogging? The slide show was all I could do in one day, so now we'll see if I can add the words. We went on the Caribbean Princess. It was 950 feet long. If you walk around the Promanade deck 2.7 times you've walked one mile! With over 3000 guests and 1100 crew the elevators were very busy so we took the stairs a lot and now I can walk up and down stairs withour holding on to something! We left from San Juan, Puerto Rico and went to St. Thomas where we got an open air taxi to Coki Beach and snorkled. It was great. Tortolla was next. We caught another open air taxi and took an exciting tour of the Island. The roads are very narrow and winding and steep! Thats where I found us a lot! It was a little steep though! We went to a beach there too. Antiqua was next and we booked a tour from the ship. We toured part of the Island, took a speed boat out to some mangroves where kayaks were waiting for us. We did that for while then boated over to Bird Island where we snorkled, then climbed Bird Island to the top where so had wonderful views! St. Lucia was next and we did the same tour Ron and Diane just did a few weeks ago. They found it on the internet, Cosol Tours. It was almost 8 hours long and was great. We toured the Island, stopping to eat a few times, shopped at little road side stands, learn about how bananas grow, viewed a volcano that smelled just like Yellowstone, swam in a waterfall then boated to a great beach and view of the pitons where we had some of our best snorkling ever! Barbados was next the we took a taxi to a beach where we swam out aways and snorkled where the turtles were- cool! The last day was at sea. At night we went to the wonderful shows, then walked around the ship to see what else was happening. We danced a lot, sometimes at the ballroom dancing place and the disco the same night. We slept very good! We went to church in San Juan. It was very nice. It was all in Spanish but we were happy to be there. We had a wonderful trip and felt so blessed to have felt so good and had peace and safety and most of, we all grew to love each other even more! Hope we can go with all of you in the near future!

We had a wonderful anniversary back in march. We signed on our house, had a bed delivered and slept at our new "cabin" It was very special because we talked about our dreams for the house and Dad said a prayer and dedicated our house that, among other wonderful things, it would be a place of peace, inspiration, and rejuvenation

Christmas!

I had so much fun at my Grandchildren's Christmas Party! We played lots of games, went sleigh riding (down the stairs with sleeping bags) decorated cookies, ran around the house to Christmas music, ate a fancy dinner of jello, chicken nuggets, pizza, corn and dessert. Then the grandkids went to sleep by the tree while I read Christmas stories. They were all so good and fun to be with! I want to do it next year. Once grandpa came over from Darins and was quickly told that this party was for the grandkids and GRANDMA only! We had lots of funWe had a wonderful time having Christmas with Darin and Tayna and their family! We had fun Christmas eve having a wonderful dinner, making the Night Before Christmas movie with the new addition of the Elf-B.I.! Christopher was Santa and was so fat he could hardly move! It was so funny. Then we acted out the nativity. Gary, Jonathan and I slept in Brandons room while all the kids were in Christopher and kyle's room. They like to eat breakfast before opening gifts! We thought that was highly unusual, but really is a good idea, then you're not starving all morning while opening gifts!

This is late but I just had to show everyone our beautiful new granddaughter and say how much fun we had with the Lau's at Toledo! We were so thankful to be at Taylor's baby blessing and at Matthew's birthday!

After church we put Jill's blessing dress on Taylor and had Gary hold her like he did Jill 24 years ago. Pretty nostalgic

Matthew loved his new kitchen he got for his birthday and we enjoyed having him cook for us!

We were very thankful for a safe harvest. Everyone loved the new fast digger! I don't know how to put the words under the right picture-Sorry! I need lessons! Again! But at least I posted!

Grace's blessing day was wonderful and we really enjoyed having everyone at our home. She is such a sweet little girl! Grandma and Grandpa Crump sure enjoyed playing games with everyone and want to do it again! Grace and I wanted to match!

Youth Cultural Celebration

Jonathan had a wonderful time being in the youth celebration! He got to bring in one of the handcarts--he is in the middle with the flags-his roommate, Cody Darrington is to his right in that picture--in the last picture he is in the middle about to lift up Kris, and then you can see how close we were to Pres. Monson when he came in! It was an amazing program!

We had such a wonderful day at the temple with the Hunsakers and Turners! They let the 14 Stake Presidencies and their wives go through the temple the day after the dedication and it was so neat to see how perfectly it was being run on the first day! We went out to eat at Jakers afterwards. It was an amazing 3 days with the Youth Celebration, the Dedication and then a temple session. We were so blessed to attend it all!

I am so happy to be home even though it is hard to see all the things I want to do and can"t. I feel peaceful and happy and know it is because of Heavenly Father answering so many prayers from so many wonderful people. My first priority was to get my hair dyed and the troops came in to help! Tayna dyed it and then Gary and Darin had to lift me up on the kitchen counter so we could wash the dye out. Then Darin decided to stay so I asked him to blow it dry and curl it. He did a great job! We all had a lot of fun! I feel a little bit stronger every day and can even lift my leg off the bed a few inches, which is huge to me. Thanks for all your calls and prayers!

South Pacific

Jonathan did a fantastic job as Emile in South Pacific! He was so surprised to get the part--he tried out to get the part of a sailor with just a few lines, but the drama teachers knew he was the man for the part! He kept his French accent the whole play and sang so well. We were very proud of him. It was very hard and stressful for him, but he gained a lot from it. We have the movie for you, who didn't get to see it. Thanks to Nolan, Ashley

Easter at Jenny and Nathans

We had a wonderful Easter going to Jenny and Nathans, being with them and their kids and Holly, Kent, Jack and Jordan. It was so much fun to see how surprised Jenny was when they showed up at their door! We're so glad we got to see them. The few hours we had passed too quickly, but it was all worth it. It was fun to see Jordan walk! Jenny cooked us two wonderful meals, we had an Easter egg hunt, went to church and visited. Gary and I tended Savannah and Jordan in the halls during Sunday School! Wow! It made us appreciate all you mothers who deal with that every Sunday! We forgot how hard it is to keep that age happy in church! Hope you all had a good Easter

We finally got our computer fixed and I can Blob again! Nolan, Ashley, Darin and Tayna helped clean the garage today! Sorry, Frauke, we are removing the Gusy and Sary sign you made. We did enjoy it for 8 years though! Thank you so much for the birthday card, Frauke! You are so sweet to remember us. The garage is going to be so nice when we get the floor painted. Thanks so much Darin, Tayna, Holly, Kent, Nolan, Ashley and Jonathan!

Jonathan is in South Pacific tonight! I'm sure he will do fantastic! We're really proud of him for doing this! He has never even been in drama. He is pretty nervous.

It was really fun to have Madi and Ashley here one weekend!

I decided to let the kids play with my old doll house furniture. They loved it!

I had a wonderful time visiting Holly , Kent and the kids in Palo Alto! Kent brought us some Cold Stone one night. Me and Jack loved it!

This is about 6:00 AM right before I left. Jordon was up! Jack wasn't so I couldn't tell him Happy Birthday, but Holly and I decorated this house with crepe paper and balloons the night before like Holly remembered I use to do for our kids birthdays. I was so glad I got to have some one on one time with the kids.

Jonathan in his new RRHS Senor shirt. The back has a big "08" which they all signed twice because this only have about 15 in their class! Don't know if you all heard- he got Homecoming King! He caught a touch down pass last night! They won 48-0 against Shoban.

The room is coming! The red beadboard had to go! I told dad I wouldn't let this decorating interfere with harvest, so I painted late at night and inbetween driving truck! Harvest is coming really well. We only have 2 growers at the dump now-us and Alan Harper, we have 6 trucks this year and dad is digging full time this year so things are going fast! We got over 40 ton on one field!!!!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!

Holly and I found this at the pottery barn in Palo Alto. We would take off the gold leather pillows on the couch and add more green pillows and also paint the walls green. We really like the frames and tall vase with the leaves in it on the sofa table. Mom really likes the rug. Holly really likes the leather ottoman.

We had to go one more time! We were so glad we did! It was smooth and well..... cold, but we had fun. I didn't get in but Nolan, Ashley and Jonathan were brave. Thomas loved it. Ashley crossed the wake for her first time! Jonathan did a rail slide on the wake. Nolan did a 180. Mom took pictures and held Thomas.

+I've been struggling with what to do with this room for 2 years! All we see at the homeshows is leather. Who votes for leather? Or I really liked this room at the homeshow. What do you think of it? Pretty wild huh? Open to all suggestions!
